My expertise and experience allow me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care.
I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a supportive ground to individuals, families, and couples.
My focus is to help clients to heal, grow and become aware of their inner strengths and resources. We work together to compassionately listen to your story and explore what kinds of care and healing you are longing for in your self and relationships. Collaboratively, we chart a path forward that honors your needs and goals. I provide a warm and safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan that helps you cultivate the healing and wholeness you are longing to experience in your life and relationships.
Some of the areas I help people navigate include, but are not limited to the following areas of struggle:
Individuals navigating life transitions, recovery from childhood abuse, sexual assault, trauma, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and personality disorders.
Couples struggling with communication, conflict, lack of emotional connection, intimacy, sex, relational betrayals (infidelity), divorce, parenting issue, premarital counseling, parenting intellectually gifted children.
Families struggling with relational losses, trauma, adult parent and adult child relationships, divorce, medical illness, relocation, and loss of a child, sibling or parent.
I provide therapy where you can explore what feels most meaningful to you. We utilize your unique strengths and resources in our work together as well as developing new strengths, skills and tools. For clients who find the Christian faith to be a resource, I am delighted to integrate your faith into our therapeutic conversations. For clients who find support from other systems of meaning, I am happy to meet you in those places and draw upon those resources. For clients who find meaning in other ways of engaging existential concerns, I rejoice in exploring and supporting your ways of understanding the world.
I am also committed to honoring client's racial, cultural, religious, sexual and gender identity. I believe in offering high quality, skilled compassionate psychotherapy in which everyone can feel safe and honored in for all their sides of self and in their wholeness.
