When you are ready, please reach out through phone or email to schedule an initial session. We will have a phone conversation briefly identifying what you are experiencing and what you are wanting to work on together. Please feel free to bring your questions as well so we can discuss them. Then we will schedule a time to meet. I am looking forward to talking with you!
Therapy works best when client and therapist meet weekly. In some circumstances, clients will feel helped by meeting twice a week. We can discuss what feels like the best fit for your circumstances.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, online or telephone sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you.
Once we have determined an initial appointment time, I will send you initial paperwork to fill out. Please bring or email this paperwork during your first session along with your insurance card and drivers license if you wish to file through insurance.
I work on a fee for service basis. Payment is expected at time of service.
I am also an In-Network Provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice. Please familiarize yourself with your mental health benefits in order to feel prepared with what to expect from your insurance company.
I am an Out-of-Network Provider for all other insurance companies. If you have insurance through another company and you wish you use your out of network insurance benefits, that is possible. If requested, after receiving payment, I will provide you with a SuperBill at the end of each month verifying our sessions and your payment. You can submit the SuperBill to your insurance provider for any out of network benefits they may offer you. I also encourage all clients to call your insurance company to become familiar with your out of network benefits head of time so you can know what to expect.
Sessions are approximately 45-53 minutes in length. Sometimes, clients prefer to schedule longer sessions. If you feel need of a longer session, we can discuss this together ahead of time. Please note that insurance covers only one 45-53 minute session a day. If you do wish to schedule an extended session time, the additional time will be charged on a prorated basis at $180/50 min. This additional time is not covered by insurance.
I accept cash, personal check and ChasePay as forms of payment.
Your weekly appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, please contact me as soon as possible. With notice, I will make every effort to reschedule your appointment that week to keep the continuity of our work together.
I kindly request any appointment cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee. Please note that insurance does not cover late cancellation fees and is the responsibility of the client.
